Gabriella Von Ille

Founder and Managing Partner
Gabriella is a strategic communications and reputation management specialist. Born and raised in Sweden, Gabriella started her career in the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs for a financial regulator in Washington DC. She thereafter took a job as a journalist, which exposed her to diverse parts of Latin America and Africa particularly in the mining and energy sectors. In 2013 she founded Lifa Communications and has since grown the company in to one of Africa’s leading communication agencies focused on sustainability.

Camilla Osborne

Partner & Head of Strategy and Media
With over 15 years of experience, Camilla is a seasoned communication & reputation management professional. She was previously Head of Communication for The Coca- Cola Company responsible for 18 countries across Southern & East Africa. Prior, she was Head of Sustainability for a strategic advisory firm, Africa Practice. With a Masters from LSE in Environment & Development, Camilla uniquely applies her sustainability background to communication and marketing expertise. Camilla is a globally certified Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP®).

Mzi Mbane

Partner & Head of Brand and Clients
Mzi is an accomplished executive with over two decades of local and international experience in Branding and Marketing. Notable achievements in Brand Marketing, Strategic Marketing and Programs Implementation in senior management roles at various leading global companies including Mondelez, Unilever, Coca Cola, PepsiCo, Coty Beauty. My most recent position was Global Brand Innovation Manager at South African Tourism responsible for Agencies and Partnerships. In addition, been involved with major international projects like the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa and Global Citizens.

Rayell Geral

Creative Director
Rayell is a Graphic Designer, specialising in brand development, with over 20-years of experience in creative industry. Over the years Rayell has developed, grown and managed various well-known brands, both locally and internationally. At Lifa Communications, his passion for design and creativity drives a talented team which extends throughout all facets of design- web development, animation, video production and social media.

Adrian Nuade

Senior Graphic Designer
Adrian has over 10 years’ experience in helping brands showcase their true potential through creative concept development and the design thereof. From humble beginnings, Adrian started his career by designing Corporate Identities for SME’s. Today, he is a full-fledged designer who has transformed the brands of multi-national corporates from across the globe. This level of international brand experience has proven to be an invaluable asset within his role at Lifa Communications.

At the forefront of Peter’s role at Lifa Communications is his passion for dealing with clients and understanding their unique requirements. With over 20 years’ experience in the creative space, Peter has a profound knowledge-base when it comes to brand development, video production, graphic design, and web development, enabling him to provide clients with the best possible advice as they proceed along their creative journeys.

Creatively speaking, Lungile is an all-rounder who forms part of our Social Media team. With around 5 years’ experience in the industry, Lungile doesn't just design; he enjoys bringing innovative ideas to the table while challenging the status quo throughout all Social Media platforms.

Tanya Stone

Content Producer & PR
Tanya brings over 18 years of experience crafting impactful corporate communications as a Media Producer. She thrives on transforming ideas into compelling narratives, expertly managing the entire creative journey from concept to final delivery. Her skills include creative strategy and conceptualisation, copywriting, design, video editing and animation, project and creative team management. Nicolette Ashman

Head of Digital Marketing
Nicolette is our resident Social Media guru, and has a knack for identifying how to efficiently reach specific audiences through the power of all-things-digital. Her day-to-day role at Lifa Communications includes communicating with online audiences, analysing engagement data, identifying and implementing social media trends, and developing reports to name a few.

Jessica Horwitz

Account Manager and Content Writer
Jessica is a writer and communications specialist with background in FMCG marketing and public relations. She honed her skills in the corporate world, working in Customer and Commercial Marketing and Corporate Communications disciplines. She’s worked on award-winning marketing and PR initiatives, product launches, CSI and internal company engagement campaigns. Jessica holds a MA English Literature and Fiction Writing (University of Toronto), BA Honours in Dramatic Art (WITS), as well as certificates in Digital Marketing, Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

Chantelle is a media professional who has spent the past decade as a journalist specialising in the mining and metals sector in Africa. Skilled in long-form feature writing, breaking news, online writing, multimedia production, and editing, she has a deep understanding of the African natural resources sector. She has fulfilled several roles at mining magazines to a global audience and more recently has worked as a freelance journalist and copy writer.

Accountant and Office Manager
Cindy is an Accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in finance, corporate and individual tax, and specialises in small to medium enterprises. She has exceptional administrative capabilities and offers a comprehensive 360 service to her clients including managing insurance and medical aids. She currently freelances as an Accountant.
